“A couple making love near sliding doors, a lacquer tray with hair combs to the side, inscriptions above and to the left.“

It also suggested that this print might have been made by a pupil of Hokusai, Katsushika Hokuichi (active 1804-1830).

Another (more trimmed) impression of this design was sold at the Asian Ceramics and Works of Art at Christie's in A'dam on Tuesday 8 May 2001 (Illus.10 on p.13).
